I loved the story, it was interesting. I loved the characters, especially the three brothers. I guess since I got this book for free I shouldn't fuss but I cannot help it. So many misspelled words and misused words had me grumbling while trying to read the book instead of totally enjoying it. How hard is it to use spell check or to proof read your story before putting it out for others to see. Also, a dictionary would be helpful too so you don't use the wrong words.

I am not trying to be mean or hurtful, I think our reviews should give our honest opinions to help the authors. I would enjoy a follow up story, too.

Great read by an up and coming young author who used to live right here in northeast Columbia! Highly recommend!
This s sorry was hard to put down. I finished it in one day. I loved the characters and the story line was great.
I loved it! When I first read the title I was thinking oh goodness another book about Atlantis....Boy was I wrong. I read a little of it to my kids and they were laughing their heads off, we all did. Thank You.
Great book and story concept, gave it 4 stars due to the minor distraction of word errors and grammatical errors. Overall the story was one I didn't want to put down until I finished reading.
I agree with another reviewer that the spelling and editorial errors interfere with enjoyable reading. Without the errors, which significantly distract from the story, I would have ranked at 3 stars. I do think the story was interesting overall and would love to see how it reads after a good edit. Thankfully I got the book as a freebie. Had I paid the $12.99 asking price I would have been extremely upset. This book needs serious edit work before any payment is expected.
Like the title says, this book had an interesting and captivating story line, which kept me reading, but there were several grammatical and even spelling errors that were super hard to overlook. Spelling what was meant to be "waist" as "waste", as an example, makes the reader a bit confused. And using "u" for "you" is for texting, not novel-writing, am i right? Also, there were several times I noticed the author repeating herself within a couple of paragraphs of each other. Each time, I found myself rereading the last page to see what I had missed, only to find out i hadn't missed anything at all. I am definitely not an editor, or even a snooty English major...in fact I am an accountant, but even I could have done a bunch to improve this book with one quick read through. Again, I am not criticizing the story line or the creativity, just the lack of editing.
For a college graduate, this is a great base for her to build her writing career on.

Chasing Atlantis focuses both on the maturity and independent mind of the teenage girl in a family filled with wealth-seeking and dominant individuals who view an impossible relationship of Amy Jane with a family friend as something that improves their image, while incorporating elements of the supernatural marine folklore.

What I mostly enjoyed from reading this was the development of the conflict especially around the midsection of the story where we see her choose a side in this feud she finds herself in. Yes while some spelling errors distract the reader's attention, it's not too hard to regain concentration on the storyline.

As a gentleman, this novel is a great read for all and the author says there is a sequel on the way. Stay posted for her next book!
